I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand people who don’t practice what they preach.

You know why?

It really grates me, people declaring they know what’s best for you, they dish out advice faster and more frequently than a McDonald's drive-through. Yet they are doing the opposite to what they’re telling you to do. How does that work?

These people have life all figured out; it’s simple; you just need to do…(fill in the blank). So why are they not living their best life instead of dictating to you what you should be doing? You know they are not taking their own advice.

Sometimes, I find myself conversing about weight gain or weight loss, and I find myself advising people of what foods are the most beneficial for them if they want to lose weight. WTF? I have read so much about food, and I do have a burning desire to learn more about nutrition and its role within the body, but to dish out slimming advice when I’m clearly not taking it myself is hypocritical surely?!

Yes and no. You see after I engage in a conversation about food as nutrition and how we can mindlessly shovel food down, I get a little kick up the jacksy.

You know how?
